I am an experienced, intuitive and heart centered practicioner. I believe that Rolfing deeply affects us physically as well as emotionally, spiritually and energetically. The process changes the way we relate to and move through the world around us. My years of experience allow me to create space for you to release and unwind the years of pain, trauma and habitual patterns that are no longer serving you. My professional career began in 1994 at the Atlanta School of Massage. I was accepted into the Rolf Institute for Basic Certification in 1998 and received my Advanced Certification in 2013. In April 2017 I received my Cranial Manipulation certification from Jim Asher and the Colorado Cranial Institute. My interest in this work lies in its benefits for trauma, head trauma, PTSD and its ability to create deep relaxation in the nervous system.

I am truly looking forward to hearing from you. I would love to hear about you and your interest in Rolfing.

Rolfing Structural Integration is a unique and highly effective method of physical manipulation and movement education. Its brings dramatic and long lasting results by releasing deep restrictions and patterns within your fascia. Fascia is a highly complex and specialized network of connective tissue which is continuous throughout your entire body. Trauma, surgical procedures, inflammatory responses and habitual patterns create tightness throughout this network.

Rolfing is traditionally applied in a series of sessions. Each session is both a continuation of the previous and an introduction to the next. Through a combination of applied pressure and gentle movements, Rolfing frees and repositions the layers of fascia. As a result tension, tightness and habitual holding patterns are released, uncovering structural ease and balance within the body.

Rolfing improves your posture, alignment, coordination and balance. It will reduce chronic pain, increases efficiency and grace of movement and enhances athletic performance. It will also assist with injury recovery and postpartum recovery.

Cranial Sacral Therapy

Move through your world with freedom, grace and ease

Center for Integrative Healing Arts

Cranial Sacral Therapy is a subtle and meditative practice that promotes deep healing and balancing of your central nervous system. By tuning into your body's physiological rhythm of cerebrospinal fluid, restrictions and strain patterns within the layers of your cranium are gently released.

Your Cranial Sacral system includes the cerebrospinal fluid and membranes that surround your brain and spinal cord. It extends from the cranium through your spine to your sacrum. Distortions in the natural cranial rhythm result from injuries and stress. Birth trauma, childhood injuries, car accidents, head trauma and psychological trauma all impact you physically, emotionally and energetically. Cranial Manipulation can assist with a wide range of issues including migraines, insomnia, neck pain, TMJ, head trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

As a practitioner of Cranial Manipulation, I will use subtle touch to feel the cranial rhythm and apply gentle pressure to release tension. In addition to unwinding and releasing restrictions, trauma and pain, Cranial Sacral Therapy allows you to drop into deep relaxation. This state of deep relaxation creates alpha brain waves. This Alpha Brain Wave state allows for daydreaming and conscious mindfulness or meditation. It is the gateway to your subconscious mind and intuition. Deep healing happens during this time as stress is released from your nervous system and your body's own healing process is enhanced.

Anyone can benefit from Cranial Sacral Therapy. If you suffer with anxiety, emotional stress or the effects of trauma, it can be life changing.

This method of Cranial Manipulation is as taught by Jim Asher of the Colorado Cranial Institute and the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado.

All Rolfing sessions may include some Cranial Manipulation.
